This was a really enjoyable walk that was slow at the start due to the slippery conditions on the path going down to the lake. It was decided to take lunch after the climb which made for a late lunch. However apart from the cold start and cool wind during the climb the weather remained dry. The walk along the ridge makes up for the effort involved and a sense of achievement was felt by all. The tea shop was the final reward with birthday celebrations.
