We started the walk in thick mist along the sea shore. Through Hornsea and round the mere. After leaving the mere the fields that we crossed had not been walked for some time and the path was unclear and rough. This part of the walk was hard going due to the high grass. Ice cream was enjoyed on the way back to Atwick passing the memorial of a wartime aircraft in a field. This was a nice walk though rather long but those who walked enjoyed it.

11 Miles

We came across a flooded stream flowing into Hornsey Mere and had to find an alternative route.

Hills

Walkers

None but the walk was long which made it difficult.
